Am Pr. James Mwesigwa of Life Changers Ministry and Lift up Jesus Christ Church- (THIS WAS FOUNDED IN 2004 BY MY PARENTS) Mityana, Uganda.

I started ministry in 2018 with lift Up Jesus Christ Church, A church my parents started in 2004. God gave me a call of becoming a life changer by supporting the church spiritually, economically and socially in that place. I was young but that was my call by which I tried to run away from just 6 month due to responsibility and financial status which was not good. I went back to Kampala but remember this church is one I grew up from, my mom started it in 2004 and later we went to Kampala which is the capital of Uganda to study, where I joined a church for my bible study diploma. And then, when God called me back to our church, with lack of resources, it’s a village church 6km inside the village, the conditions where really hard and I went back to the city. This time, my idea was, I work hard and go back after getting some resources at least to buy some of the things we can for the gospel and church that are used in the modern day today.

In 2019 while I was in the city, I managed to write my first book ever called branding yourself new every day. It is a nice book, however in hope that it could bring a fortune to me and the church, this didn’t work out for I had no money to promote it and in 2020 another book called, “the Teenagers” for teenagers but I find myself without real connections to market and promote my books. I have a new one but still worried to publish it because I need to be sure that it will sell. In the last four years I have tried to do many things like starting new other churches and business to see how this church can benefit from me and set up a standard that God wants to set up in this place but didn’t work out as I thought. This year, through prayer I decided to go back, work the Godly plan He has for me, not trying to think for Him or formulate my own plans on His plan. I have been there and am settling in this place to make sure that this ministry is ran well and Life changed.

The reason why am here is because of the state by which the church is in, it is absurd that it is in the worst state of its own and we need to build a new one. It was the first church in this area 18yrs ago where it has served God in this region by bring many to Christ and helping them to rediscover their lost hope and life. We desire to continue doing this and more in changing people’s lives but I cannot do it alone, my parents no weak in strength and we need some help from you, that is why I have come here, to use my blog to seek for help worldwide for this church. As you see in the pictures and videos below, we had started building before but the foundation was not done well, so we had to redo it and until now we had stalled because of lack of finances right now. I call upon to whoever may be concerned to come and help us in building this church which requires us Ush45,600,000 which is equivalent to $12,000 according to the Us dollar standing now in Uganda. I humbly request for support towards the building of this church from you as an individual, organization or the body of Christ. I plead with you that this embassy of God is in a very bad state where we need your support for God’s glory and dignity. Thank you and May God continue to bless you, In Jesus’ name.

A WOMAN'S HEART IN A MAN

A WOMAN'S HEART IN A MAN

 This article comes after realizing the power in a woman's heart for her children.

Ephesians 5:1-2, therefore be imitators of God as dear children.  And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

In most occasions, I am a very quiet person especially in a new environment. Sometime I sit down, observing and studying the personality of others. One of those things that I have observed in life is the woman's heart for her children. First, my mother and then others mothers in the community. 

I have never seen a woman complaining about the entire stupid and foolish things her child does while growing. The child can waste on the mother's body for the short or the long call, and instead of complaining, she stands up, clean up the mess, plus the baby. The way the baby would cry, the mother is willing to extend her hand to her child. She is always ready to listen and to train her child in the way she wants them to grow. She has a nurturing hand, slow to anger, patient for her child and always make sure that, her child understands the love of her mother.

Ephesians 5:1-2, expresses the love of God to the church (me and you).  God is a principled a God, He has a system of leadership by which He transfers His message to us. See in the first verse, Paul tells the church to imitate God as dear children. And walk in love as Christ loved the church, giving Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God. See when you go to 1 Corinthians 11, you find this order of God. Where God created man for Himself, and then He created a woman for man and then children for the woman.

THE LOVE CHAIN ORDER

God > Man>Woman >Children

As God loves man, man serves and submits to God to bring glory back to God. 

As Man loves his wife, the woman serves and submits to Man to bring glory back to Man and from Man to God.

As a Woman loves her Children, The children serves and submits to their mother to bring glory back to the mother and from the mother to the father and from the Father to God.

THE GLORY CHAIN

Children>Woman>Man>God

Therefore the wages of love is the glory upon you that is revealed by them that have received your love.

Most people have come into marriage with totally a wrong view of marriage. Thus you find them struggling with life in the marriage entered with Joy.

Some of the reasons why people marry;

You won't believe it;

Getting a solution for sexual pressure; “Patrick, stop playing with girls, you're committing adultery. You should marry.” Patrick marries so he could stop committing adultery.

"I need a woman to help me," getting a slave in form of a woman who will take care of them, from cleaning the home to laundry from laundry to all other things you know, you were told a woman should be doing at home.

A family pressure i.e. John you need to get me a grandchild before I die. Then John says, "Oh pray for me I marry." Therefore, he marries you as a baby carrier. 

If I continue, men are going to stone me. Though those reasons above might look valid without the added facts I included, but those should never be the reasons why you should marry.

Love should be the reason for you to marry. Note this in the simplicity of love expression. 

"Love is to sacrifice (instilling your needs to hers) or surrendering your life to your woman." One of the example to this is Jesus Christ (John 3:16). Paul asks us to imitate God and to love as Christ loved the church. In addition to that, as a woman loves her child.

I chose that title above, because of what I wanted you to know. Love is mandated for man to show it to his wife. Even as Paul continued, he never said that a woman should love her husband rather he commands man to love his wife. The reason why people struggle in marriage is because we really don't know our roles in the family. Sometimes you hear some men complaining about their wives not able to share responsibility at home, they say, "my wife is working but you can never know where she puts her money, we should at least share our house bills." You see the guy really frustrated! But I want to tell you my friend, as a man cannot share the responsibility of God with God or the children with their mother’s neither will your wife share your responsibility. She is not the one to take care of you but you to take care of her. You cannot take care of God (Acts 17:24), He takes care you. Children can’t take care of their mother; the mother takes care of them. Thus the man, in the same fashion as God and the mother should take care of their wives. 

This might contradict a little bit, but for easy understanding, God has placed everyone in the family in their places to serve and build a strong family in love and serving and submission to another. Everyone has each other’s heart but in different capacities, and you should learn when to implement them. Your wife should be loved as she loves your children. You are supposed to treat her like your own child. The bible says we imitate God as His dear children. Serve God as you would like your wife to serve you and love your wife as God has loved you. I hope wives can share this article to your husbands and friends who receive this article continue to share it more to their other friends.

Prayer

Father, thank you for your Love, your love has taught me how to love. Your mercy and endurance with me has taught me how to be happy and patient with the partner you will give me. For those who already have their partners, teach them how to love, reveal to them how you have loved us, that while we were still weak in our ungodliness, Christ died for us. Teach us what we should imitate about you and our families to grow strong and last on the foundation of your love which sacrifices for others, which endures forever and forever full of mercy. May your righteousness, peace and joy express itself in our glorious families in the Holy Spirit who resides in us.

Romans 1:16-17. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

TODAY’S LESSON

Many people have lost hope because of the identity they have. Many challenges and trials have all come to shape us in this world which has left many people wandering around the globe to find something they can identify themselves with. Many people have become what they never thought to be where they only need the grace of God through the gospel to save them. The gospel of Christ is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes. When you know the power in the gospel, you can’t just let it go to vanish without letting others know, Jesus Christ describes the gospel as the antidote for poverty because it comes with good news, and Paul describes it as a tool in which the righteousness of God is revealed by faith to faith. You have known the scripture that, “the just shall live by faith.” That is the power, the hope, and the joy that comes with the gospel and am not ashamed of it.

So I beseech my friends to not stop preaching the gospel, if you had not started, please get started and spread the gospel of our God that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and He was buried, and He rose again the third day. Let everyone know about Jesus Christ whose death brought us peace with God and made us righteous, holy and blameless before our God.

THROUGH CHRIST, WE HAVE RECEIVED GRACE & APOSTLESHIP.

SCRIPTURE:

Rom 1:5-6 Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name, among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ;

 

TODAY’S LESSON:

We thank God for the gift of His grace and apostleship we received through Christ Jesus. By faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, we have all received grace, the grace that has separated us from among all nations. We have become His name bearer for righteousness as His apostles in the world. This is a privilege for us to serve on behalf of God’s kingdom as His ambassadors everywhere you are. The grace of God assigns you to work in different offices of the Holy Spirit and as a question, which office are you in?

For we have received the fullness of Christ from grace to grace (John 1:16). This means as we take on the fullness of Christ, we become part of Christ for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. And this can only be achieved when we actively operate in our posts as God has called us unto.

YOU’RE CALLED AND GIFTED IN GOD.

SCRIPTURE:

Rom 1:1-4. Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated 

to the gospel of God which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy 

Scriptures, concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of 

David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power 

according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.

TODAY’S LESSON

When God created us, He designed us with very prestigious and unique gifts just 

like Christ, to support us for the gospel of God which was promised before through 

His prophets in the Holy Scriptures. However when you’re born in your family, 

name it, poor or rich, royal or as servants, the world brands you with an identity

name it doctor, prince, princess, king, queen, professor, engineer and so many 

others that could stand in your way of using your gifts as God created you, by 

giving you other assignments to divert you from your original call from God. Jesus 

was called a seed of David according to the flesh and at many times people wanted 

to crown Him as their new promised king in flesh diverting Him from His call of the 

savior to save the world and losing the identity of being the son of God. However 

Jesus knew His identity more than anyone else in the world and so it was 

impossible to divert Him.

Living Jesus alone, no one else has ever been born and knew his identity well just 

like Jesus, however many of us have found ourselves in those places without 

knowing how we came into them. But formerly we did different things than 

preaching the gospel. Peter was a former fisherman, Paul was a former scribe 

persecuting the church, I was a former graphic designer, and do you know what 

your life has been called to?

Some of us have been called to be Apostles, others Evangelists, others Prophets, 

others teachers, others Pastors and others supporters. Who are you, what are you doing that is causing to the praises of God’s name, is God known to you and those 

around you? Keep this in mind, that you’re called for the gospel, and whatever the 

world has called you is diverting from your divine purpose to bring the glory of God 

in this world.

PRAYER:

Dear Father, we thank you for this life you have given to us, I know we are still 

alive in you because of our unfulfilled purposes, you are a God whose tender 

mercies are forever and we come to you to receive mercy from you. We have done 

all things that brings pleasure in us and ignored our divine purposes, the very 

reason for creation, but our dear Lord, we have come to you and ask you for 

wisdom to help us know what we are supposed to do for the gospel in your name 

our Lord Jesus Christ that we may serve you and bring praises to your name in all 

of our life in Jesus name we pray. Amen.

I HAVE SPOKEN THIS THAT IN ME YOU MAY HAVE PEACE

SCRIPTURE:

John 16:33. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

TODAY’S LESSON:

In the world, problems and tribulations are part of our everyday life, whether you’re a believer, or a spiritual leader, whether you’re rich or poor, whether you’re disabled or not, trials are always set on our way. Our life in the world has been preoccupied with only imperfect stories and no one have I ever heard be the richest man in the world nor the wisest in the world that has lived a perfect life in this world. What else? Even the savior Jesus Christ always struggled and fought with the tribulations of the world. People attacked Him, He was tempted by the devil because He was hungry, and again lastly He was crucified on the cross, being nailed through his hands and feet, a thorn crown on his head as He died a shameful death for us.

So my friends, I beseech you to have peace when trouble comes. There is a saying that, “quitters never win,” and this is very true. When you quit, you lose. 

But count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. –James 1:2-4

Jesus tells us to be of good cheer because He had overcome the world. The primary cause of fear and unsettled mind that causes our hearts to run out of God’s peace is the lack of knowledge or wisdom to the solution of the trials that comes to our way. For example, if a car runs out of fuel, that wouldn’t be a problem when you have money for fuel, but that also doesn’t worry you because you already know the solution of it. But here comes the cancer disease or the Corona virus pandemic disease and doctors say we have not got the cure yet, in other words, we still lack knowledge of healing you so you’re going to die. Jesus is lifting you up saying that, “In Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." 

It doesn’t matter how or what, but the word says, when you face trials and tribulations, be of good cheer, and stay in the peace of Christ who have overcome the world. Call to the name of the conqueror, Jesus who has already overcome the world to give you the wisdom you need so that you may overcome the world too. 

James 1:5. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

PRAYER:

Our precious Lord Jesus Christ we thank you for you have overcome the world on our behalf so that we may merry in you our Lord. You found us dead in our trespasses and you made us alive in You, how great are You Lord to us. We praise you and worship you. And we will always remain in your peace, and run to you for wisdom, for you Lord alone have conquered the world and we put our trust in always for the safety of our lives in the name Jesus Christ. Amen.

Branding myself new everyday

KNOWING WHO YOU ARE.

Ephesians 6:14.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

The most frustrated people in the world are those who have either lost their identity or failed to know their worth. In fact a research from some professional doctors or psychologist suggest that some people become mad after a complete loss of their center. They add on that whatever organizing principle that holds all the different threads of your personality together no longer coheres. Because your center collapses, you have no way to make your experience cohere and everything stops making sense and that, the person's sense of self literally fragments.

This is very important for everyone to know who they are. Knowing who you are builds the complete you.

Remember, Apostle Paul says before in verse 11 to put on the whole armor of God that ye may be able to stand against the whiles of the devil. He continues to explain the kind of enemy we are dealing with who is not in the flesh or blood but is playing around in our minds to weaken, confuse, divert and destruct us from anything we might know about our life.

Therefore, knowing who you are, the truth about you is the power which girts our loins together and keep our life running towards our destine.

Knowing yourself is a process which require time for yourself. We all know the kind of job our ancient fathers Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their seeds did which was shepherding, this would get them precious time to meditate on their  life which always improved their life and the sense of listening to God than others. To take a self study about your self will, potential, ability and goodness will improve you and develop the real you created after God. Every good thing come from God and you are one of them. So that is a better foundation to start with.

If your life isn't going in the direction you want to, then that is a clear sign to tell you that you still don't know yourself very well.

Ways to self recovery

• Get to see yourself in the eyes of God (What and how God think about you). I have read this morning a verse in John 16:26-27,   At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:  For the Father himself loves you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 

When know the kind of picture in which God is seeing you, it is very difficult to mess up with life again. Jesus says, the truth will set you free and Paul claims that the is what we need to have our loins girted together. With such scriptures from the book of Romans chapter 3-10, will show you definitely who you are to God and who God is to you. the book of Hebrews

• Boost your self-esteem. This is very important especially when you have done the first step of getting to see yourself in the eyes of God.

• If it doesn't serve you, get rid of it. This includes people, places,  your hobbies and your habits. One of the hardest thing is to get rid of them, but if they don't improve you, let them go, the best is yet to come, it is in the future you're about to create, finding people who adds value on you.  Don't be like a goat being forced to go where it is to find pasture. I believe you're smart enough

We have learned too much from the world that we live and rely to much according to the world system which serves as a diversion of the truth that God wants to communicate to us. My brethren, one of my friends told me once of how he rebuked our friend to go and get a life. Was he dead? No but was in a position that he never liked to serve from and was always complaining about its system but could quit it. So my dear friends, I will argue you to go and get a life that was created for you by standing therefore, having your loins girt about with truth and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

The Spirit of the World.

As the heaven has a Spirit, which is God where heaven means "the place of God," so the earth also with a spirit.
*The Character of the Spirit of the earth*
-Without form
-Void
-Darkness.

All these characteristics are mentioned of in Gen 1:2 as how the earth was before God designed it into what we see now.

It is important to note that these characteristics are already being witnessed by us through how we operate in our daily living.
Without God in our life [living according to the world system], we are formless or out of order, void were we have no purpose for living but empty and darkened mind which is only after the desires of the flesh.

Paul writes about this spirit of the world in Eph 2:2 & 6:12 to show us how we all walked and learned according to the course of this world which is designed by this prince of the air, the spirit that worketh in the children of disobedience. And also adds on in chapter 6 that, as believers, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].

So, what man needs first as a cure is Christ Jesus, the complete antidote of sin and the perfect design of God. After receiving Christ, you need to relearn newly according to the new life designed for us through Christ Jesus from the word of God.

AT CALVARY CHRIST SUFFERED FOR US

Oh yes, greetings to you all my brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus Christ, am thankful to God who has instead made us His ambassadors in this world for His Kingdom. I am so excited about the Grace of God that has brought salvation to us through the blood of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus is my Hero and will always be, for indeed it's rear for someone to die for a righteous man, but while we were ungodly, Christ died for us. This is why I want to share with you Isaiah 53:4-7 and if you want you can read the whole chapter.
I can feel it, I can imagine how painful, heavy it was for Him to bear our sin, but like an oxen, Jesus was ready to die for my sin and yours and of the world at large. He is the glory of the invisible God. Thank you Jesus for by your Grace we were saved, we did nothing so to boast but it was your work from the start to finish. Ephesians 2:8-9

Isaiah 53:4-7 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God's paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
So we can sing a song for our Lord, for He has done us great things, He has separated us from the great sin, that as far as the east is far from the west, is our sin from us. Psalms 103:12

Now, for sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14. We have this confidence in Him who has made us His ambassadors to the world, that, we may plead in His case to you, run away from sin and come to Jesus who is our Lord and Savior. He says in John 5:24, that, "whoever hears my words and believes in Him who has sent me, has crossed over from death to life and he shall not come to judgement."

My dear brothers and sisters, I know you don't want to be judged, so we only have one option for you, in case you had not yet believed in Jesus Christ our Lord, to believe in Him right now. Make the best decision ever, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior because, He has already carried your sin away, and has worked out your terms with the Father, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have ever lasting life and also is given power to become a child of God in Jesus' name. Amen.

It is very simple, He is at your door knocking, welcome Him by saying, Jesus, I welcome you in my heart, be my Lord and my savior. That's what Jesus is waiting to hear from you and the rest is of Him to do.

As I pray, I pray that every Christian will always be able to remember the price of Jesus that bought him/her from their sin, Jesus my Lord, let every thing fade away until it is only you Lord, I lift you high from the center of my heart. I thank you for your cross, for it has perfected us, may the glory and honor always be for you in your Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
